Cleaning the ears, in addition to being part of our pet's hygiene routines, will help us detect and prevent possible infections. Some breeds such as the Basset Hound, Cocker Spaniel, Beagle, Bloodhound, Great Dane, and Dachshund are more prone to collecting dirt in their ears. When cleaning your pet's ears, you must first check that the outside of the ear canal is pinkish. If it has wax, which is quite common, it must be cleaned. Try to do it regularly to avoid infections. If the dog shakes its ears abnormally, if it scratches insistently, or if its ears give off an intense and unpleasant odor, it may indicate that our pet has an infection. Recommendations for cleaning your dog's ears First clean the outside of the ear, using a towel moistened with warm water and the usual shampoo. Next, remove the soap residue and dry the area well. You can use Disane natural shampoo with aloe vera. For the inside of the ear, use a clean gauze, inserting it lightly into the ear with your finger but without delving into the ear canal. Drag any remaining wax to the outside. To dissolve the wax you can use Disane's ear cleaner for dogs . It has a physiological pH, identical to that of the dog's skin, and does not contain alcohol. Use gauze for each ear so that if there is an infection it does not spread from one ear to the other. If your dog is healthy, it will be enough to clean his ears once a week .

In case of otitis, hygiene is the perfect complement to the treatment. It is recommended to clean the ear half an hour before applying the treatment. Avoid using cotton swabs , they can damage the dog's inner ear, which is where the eardrum is located. In this video you will see how to clean the dog's ears correctly. Breeds to take more into account Lop-eared and hairy breeds are more likely to accumulate dirt in their ears. They are, among others: Basset Hound, Cocker Spaniel, Beagle, Bloodhound, Great Dane and Dachshund popularly known as “dachshund”. Other breeds to consider  CZ Leads  are: Through its small ear canal: German Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, Chow Chow Due to the frequent presence of allergic dermatitis: Boxer, Irish setter, shih tzu and west highland terrier Beagle dogs, ideal for active families with children September 3, 2020 Published in Blog beagle dogs Beagle dogs are intelligent, playful, affectionate and get along very well with children, which is why they are especially recommended for families with small children. Beagle dogs are part of one of the oldest breeds, since their origin dates back to classical Greece, although they gained fame thanks to English royalty. According to the criteria of the International Cynological Federation (FCI) , this breed belongs to the group of “small-sized hound-type dogs.” Both males and females can weigh between 10 and 20 kilos. One of its most characteristic features is its large floppy ears and its short, dense hair .

Their life expectancy is between 12 and 15 years. As puppies, beagle dogs are black and white (don't forget that the famous Snoopy was this breed) and later their hair acquires its final color. The most common are: bicolor: brown and white, copper and white, and lemon and white; in the tricolor they are black, brown and white. They are easy dogs to train thanks to their docility. The only thing that needs to be controlled is their tracking instinct , which makes them tend to escape, so this aspect will have to be worked on in their education. These dogs are very sensitive to loneliness, so they need to be accompanied. Another of its peculiarities is its howling , which you will have to teach it to control, especially if you live in a community. They need regular physical exercise so they are recommended for active people. Ideal for people who enjoy running with their pet. You will have to control their diet because they like to eat a lot and have a tendency to be overweight. Beagle dog care The short hair of the beagle dog does not need special care. It is enough to brush him two or three times a week and bathe him regularly (once a month is enough). Keep in mind that they lose a lot of hair, so they are not especially recommended for people with allergies. Additionally, the size and shape of their ears makes them prone to infections. It is important that you continually check them, paying special attention to their hygiene. You can use Disane's natural ear cleaner . It will help you prevent infections, as well as bad odor and irritations. In addition, since it does not contain toxic chemicals, you can use it daily.
